Piranha’s Swim School’s aim is to help as many children as possible to learn to swim in areas where there was limited provision.  Our programme is driven by passionate and engaging coaching, inspired by a series of innovative techniques. Swimming lessons have never looked so fun! 

Our swim schools cover the Lake District, Grasmere, Lancaster and Carnforth areas. With new venue Kirkby Lonsdale coming soon!  

Piranha’s Swim School is the most unique swim school of its kind – established on a philosophy of fun and enjoyment with one mission – to get children excited about swimming! Our coaches are highly trained and between them carry an amazing 139 years of experience between them. Our expert coaches have a positive attitude towards continued learning and development to bring nothing but expert provision to our swimmers.

Our coaches are full of charisma and are ready and waiting to encourage your children to push themselves to their limits and break through new barriers. For children who are nervous or new to water, our coaches provide a fun and exciting experience that allows your child to get lost in the magic and forget any anxieties they may have. We pride ourselves on our team’s patience and consistency.  

Piranha’s Swim School works alongside the levels and content set by the ASA and sessions are delivered by ASA qualified instructors.  Our programmes offer a bespoke sticker book for your child to record their achievements along the way. 

Our vision is to inspire all our swimmers to be masters of water confidence, enabling them to engage in the magic of holidays, the great outdoors and the world of sport with confidence and pride.
